Murraya Koenigii - The Curry Leaf Plant

One of the most famous asian herb is Murraya Koenigii which is most commonly known as Curry leaf plant. It is also known as Sweet Neem. It is fairly easy to grow and can accept larger type of weather conditions. To grow it from seeds, put them in moist soil and water regularly. The seeds will take 20 days or so to germinate. Another mehtod is to buy a small plant from nursery and plant it in a pot or garden and water regularly with 2 or more days interval depending on how quickly its soil gets dry. It will grow very quickly.

Now here is a picture of my Curry leaf plant. If you have any questions you are welcome to ask.

Its leaves are highly aromatic and used in different type of Indian & Pakistani cuisines. It is mostly used to flavor & smell the food.
